What the heck is a health coach anyway?
Not a therapist. I can tell you that. Nor am I a medical doctor, chiropractor, registered dietitian, clinical nutritionist...
Health practitioners are masters of ASSESSMENT, specialized in their area of expertise.
Unfortunately, the knowledge practitioners have is only as good as what their patients do with it...which usually isn't much. 😩
Health and life coaches are masters of HABIT CHANGE.
My job is to guide you to improve your relationship with your body and food, helping you create a lifetime of new, healthy habits...that just become what you know and do each day without thinking. 💡
I take the information from your assessments and determine which lifestyle adjustments will have the biggest impact in what I call The Fundamental 5.
Then I provide you with the system, support and accountability to empower you to live up to the most greatest version of you imaginable.

That means how you treat your health is (very likely) how you treat your money, your relationships, your job...!
Those habits that you've picked up over time need some re-evaluating. I mean, some familial and cultural habits have been ingrained in us since birth!!
Knowledge alone does not create a lifestyle change. If a lack of information was this country's problem, we wouldn't have an obesity epidemic.
According to the latest data released March 2018 by JAMA, known as the "gold standard" for health data, almost 40% of American adults are considered obese (BMI of 30+) and severely obese (BMI of 40+), compared to 33.7% back in 2005-2006.
We just keep getting fatter. And sicker. 😩 Seriously, wtf. We need reform. Lifestyle, behavior and habit reform.
So how do you change a bad habit? How do you get rid of a bad habit for good and not just have a temporary fix?
My job initially is to find out the underlying reason you're stuck in your behavior patterns. Then I use that information to coach you through habit shifts which support you being the best version of yourself that you can dream up.
